Counselling Concepts is an e-book publisher that specializes in counselling and psychology, with a particular interest in multicultural counselling and social justice. We are committed to making knowledge accessible to students, practitioners, and other educators in the helping professions through both low-cost commercial and free open-source resources.

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Counselling Concepts website, in particular requests for information or book orders.
What personal data we collect?
We collect the following types of personal information:
- Name/Organization name
- Address
- Email address
- Phone number
For individual book orders through WooCommerce or PayPal, your name, email address, and phone number are retained by Counselling Concepts.
All other personal information falls under the PayPal Privacy Statement.
How do we use your personal data?
We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive and to provide information about ebook updates. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties. We use only your regional location (i.e., province) to assign and submit appropriate taxes.
We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above.
What rights you have over your data?
If you have submitted order or information requests through this website, you can request to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, tax, or security purposes.
